Familie Hoefakker broke through in Marbella in 2021 and then made the Costa del Sol their fortress, returning years later to win back-to-back Marbella titles. All three of their trophies carry a Marbella postcode. Willem — 'The Hip' — provides the steady hand while Koen brings the firepower. They drew level with the Jansens at three titles each, but Scotland put them back a step: a third place away from the Costa del Sol, while Jansen pulled ahead to four.

It's not pretty, but it works. Koen's unorthodox style and Marbella expertise have delivered three consecutive titles on the Costa del Sol. Don't judge the swing — judge the scorecard.

Fresh hip, fresh start. Willem's new hardware hasn't slowed him down — if anything, the titanium gives him extra torque. A calming presence who lets his son do the heavy lifting.
